- Open the QuickBooks folder located in the C: drive of your computer.
- Find files with an identical name to your company file and extensions .tlg & .nd.
- Right-click on the file and select Renamein the options.
- Type ‘.old’ at the end of both the file names and save them.
- Run QuickBooks Database Server Manager using the search panel or Network issues option in QB tool hub.
- Under the Scan folders, click on Browse and select the folder in which you changed the file names.
- Click on Start scan and wait until the Database Server Manager registers the file and retry accessing the company file in QuickBooks.
