Yeezy BOOST 700 At Its Best

Initially introduced at the Yeezy Clothing Season 5 runway show in February 2017 as a collaboration between Kanye West and Adidas, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 are a pair of shoes crafted by both companies. Six months after the release of the “Wave Runner” hue, on August 12, 2017, they started selling a very limited number of the same colorway exclusively through Yeezy Supply’s online store in extremely limited quantities for $300.

The fact that Kanye’s first “dad shoe” design has become a cult favorite among sneakerheads today is due to the fact that they are among the most popular sneakers of the moment.

The pair of shoes was restocked a year later on September 15, 2018, and fans were out in droves to try to get their hands on a pair of the shoes once they were restocked. The Yeezy Boost 700 has been gaining steam for the past several months and has established itself as an everyday sneaker for many people.

In the years since the Yeezy 700 was originally released in 2017, several iterations have been made to keep up with the latest trends, such as the Yeezy Boost 700 V2, Yeezy 700 V3, and Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN. There have been several iterations of the first two styles over the last two years, whereas the last two haven’t had many drops under their belt while both of the first two have been around for quite some time.

There are several releases scheduled for 2022 under the label, some of which have already been released while others are set for release in June this year such as “Hi-Res Red” and “Laceless Phosphor”. The Hi-Res Red colorway is released on June 1, and is expected to cost $300, while the MNVN Laceless Phosphor is set to release on June 4, and is expected to cost $220.

Here is a look at some of the most popular Yeezy BOOST 700 iterations over the past few years, while we await the arrival of new colorways.

Yeezy 700 Wave Runner

The Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner colorway was the first version of this highly-acclaimed series to be released. As for the upper body, the shoe featured a gray and black suede top, performance leather with blue mesh textured surfaces, luminous heel, and Three Stripes embellishments on the upper body.

Boost’s full-length midsole covered the whole bottom of the shoe, providing comfort as well as protection from the ground. In the United States, the shoes are available exclusively through Yeezy Supply and Adidas.com/YEEZY as well as Adidas.com/YEEZY.

A year after their initial release on August 12, 2017, the pairs were reissued on September 15, 2018. On the Adidas online store as well as certain Adidas stores, these shoes can be ordered for $300 and can be found in select stores as well.

There was a restock on August 17, 2019, in all kids, adults, and toddlers sizes for $300, $180, and $150, respectively.

Mauvé Yeezy Boost 700

This is the first time these silhouettes have been released for sale since October 27, 2018. As part of a $300 deal, Adidas Yeezy, Yeezy Supply, and other selected stores delivered the shoes to their customers.

A dark “Mauve” aesthetic was given to the bulky runner in order to fit with the season. A mix of purple, brown, and lime green accents is infused into the Mauve shade, which follows the classic Yeezy spectrum and features a deep purple base with a purple-brown tint.

As you can see from the picture, the pair is covered in black and dark gray tones all over the uppers as well as a wide midsole. As an added bonus, on the rubber outsole of the shoe, there are bursts of citrus green for a nice contrast. The design is completed with an outsole made from gum that completes the look.

In a similar way to the kicks that launched almost a year after the initial Wave Runner, this was the second edition of the Yeezy BOOST 700. Compared to the V1, this was a reworked and upgraded version with additional cushioning and flexibility on the tongue area so that it would keep the shoe in place in all weather conditions.

Magnet For Yeezy 700

At the beginning of September, Yeezy Slides and a few select retailers released these attractive pairs for $300 each during the launch of their e-commerce website and via their social media channels.

It can be said that this unique edition of the Boost 700 model boasts a neutral scheme that is designed in a manner to mimic the previous “Wave Runner” colorway, with a range of gray shades across the whole suede/mesh upper and an orange accent on the heel side of the sculpted midsole. In the end, the gum rubber sole unit was used to complete the design…….……………

Conclusion

Kanye’s first “dad shoe” design has become a cult favorite among sneakerheads due to its popularity.

In September 2018, the shoes were restocked and fans lined up to get a pair after they were restocked. Yeezy Boost 700s have been gaining steam for several months now and have become an everyday sneaker.
